Mr. Colin Thistlewood (Chief Information Officer)

Colin is a senior IT professional with a career in IT spanning over 30 years and covering software development, systems implementation, infrastructure design, security, consultancy and IT leadership. He has a first degree from Manchester University, an MBA from Manchester Business School and is a Member of the British Computer Society.
He has held the highest IT position in a number of companies over the past 20 years spanning government, logistics and manufacturing organisations and has worked in the UK, Middle East, USA and Nigeria.
Along with a deep understanding of business process, Colin also has extensive experience of IT security principles leading to definition and implementation of IT policies and procedures to achieve compliance with SOX and BS7799/ISO17799 standards.
His remit at LADOL is to provide the vision and leadership required to develop and implement their information systems and technology initiatives.

DR. AMY JADESIMI, Managing Director

Dr. Jadesimi received her first degree from Oxford University, where she earned a BA in Physiological Sciences. She then attended Oxford University Medical School, from which she graduated as a medical doctor (MD). After Oxford, Dr. Jadesimi joined Goldman Sachs International in London as part of the Investment Banking Division, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. She then attended Stanford Business School, from which she earned her MBA in Business Administration. While at Stanford, Amy completed an internship with Brait Private Equity in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she worked as a transaction executive in Private Equity. After graduating from business school Amy moved to Nigeria where she set up a financial consultancy firm before joining the Management Team of LiLe as Managing Director.

A contributor to Forbes, Dr Jadesimi is a member of the Advisory Board for the UN Development Programme’s Africa Human Development Report”. In 2012, Dr Jadesimi was named an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow; in 2013, a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and a Rising Talent by the Women’s Forum for Economy and Society; in 2014, Forbes included her in The 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa; and in July 2015, the Financial Times named her one of top 25 Africans To Watch. Amy is a founding member of the Business and Sustainable Development Commission, announced in January 2016 at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

LADOL is fully integrated

LADOL is a fully integrated, independent and secure base anchored around a 200m quay with a deep, 8.5m draft. The QUAY provides stevedoring and cargo handling with efficient discharge and loading of goods.

The BASE provides all logistical services, including warehousing, material handling equipment, fabrication and assembly yards, people management, catering, bunkering of fuel and water, facilities for the supply of bulk materials, a helicopter base, open and closed storage facilities, sewage and waste treatment, potable water and medical services.
