This presentation gives an overview of the future oil and gas exploration and production in Lagos and West Africa which shows an increase of activity in the north-west of Africa and in the deeper water blocks closer to Lagos . It gives a short overview of the deeper water blocks and summarizes the main upcoming activities in the area. Lagos is put forward as a suitable venue to provide logistical services to the offshore oil and gas industry for this new developing business on its doorstep. The presentation finally provides information on LADOL (Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics base), located in a 120ha Free Zone with ISPS certification which is already operational and being further expanded. LADOL is a 100% Nigerian owned business and thus comply fully with local content requirements to deliver services to the oil and gas industry or to form partnerships as the local content provider.
