MISSION AND VISSION

LiLe is the developer and operator of LADOL. LADOL is the “Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base” which is being developed and operated in LADOL Free Zone.

LADOL’s founders began planning the creation of LADOL in the year 2000. They had a vision of creating the first state-of-the-art logistics and engineering base west if the Niger Delta. LADOL was therefore conceived and designed to be a custom built, 24 hour a day, 7 days a week efficient, modern, fully integrated , secure and independent engineering and logistics base for deep offshore oil and gas projects.
Although Nigeria has been producing oil for over forty years the recently discovered mega crude oil fields in the deep offshore waters of Nigeria match those made in the past. Over USD 20 billion will be spent on these fields over the next five to seven years. In addition, it is highly probably that many more substantial discoveries will be made in this region.
LADOL is the first and only base specifically designed to meet the logistical needs of the deep water offshore oil and gas industry. The location of The Base and the services it offers will enable operator and contractors to maximize their operational efficiency.
LADOL is strategically located on an island at the point of entry into Lagos harbour, directly opposite Apapa Port. The Base will be a completely self sufficient development.
LADOL offers to its clients many of the services they will need, from pipe coating, fabrication and assembly yards to a helicopter base, open and closed storage facilities, sewage treatment and bulk water. The Base also provide quality accommodation and recreational facilities.
Being a project dedicated to supporting deep water offshore operations and projects, LADOL is anchored around an initial 200 metre quay (completed) with an 8.5 meter draft .Plans are under way to expand the quay lenght to 1000 meters.
The quay provides, stevedoring and cargo handling with efficient discharge and loading of goods. Manufacturers setting up on the base will find LADOL has excellent infrastructure, including telecommunications, sewage systems, water, fuel and transportation network.
LADOL’s has a clear and focused mission to which it and its management team are wholly dedicated:
- Design, build and operate the first purpose built engineering and support base for deep water offshore production west of the Niger Delta
- Maximize Nigerian content, job creation and technology transfer
- Attract direct foreign investment of dollars and technology into Nigeria
